my lil bro went down to the river today an caught a baby catfish with his bear hands it cant be more then 2'' an i was wondering(sence he doesnt want to seem to let it go) if it would go good in a 20gal with 10tigerbarbs good untill spring when he said hed let it go cuz hes scared the winder will kill it off. its in the tank right now an its doing fine.

I'd say releasing it again might kill it. That it's survived this is good but to return it to the wild after winter might be a mistake. Mostly because water params will be very different. The temp of the water won't climb very fast or reach current temps for months, especially if the winter is cold. Also, it will have gotten used to the easy life in a tank and won't defend itself as well as it might have if it had been left in the wild.
Course I may be wrong and it'll be fine. Choice is yours.
