Hello everyone! My 20gal is finally cycled (after 17 days ) and I'm beginning to buy stuff to fully decorate it. I was wondering if I can use trimmings of my ginseng bonsai tree for decoration? I would boil the leaves since I use bonsai ferts, but I wanted to check just in case it's harmful, I couldn't find anything online

I personally wouldn't put any terrestrial plants in a tank, but I wouldn't know about whether or not it's actually safe.

I would start with just aquatic plants, further down the track you can have a play with things like that, but only when the tank is established and you can detect changes in it.
