Just saved a wild rabbit

My parents have a pond outside that isn't being cared for anymore. The only fish in it are free mosquito fish that the state gave us to keep mosquitos from breeding there.

Well, anyways, a wild juvie rabbit fell in and I had to save him.

Poor guy is shivering right now. I put a little towel over him and am currently warming him up in the house in a cardboard box. i hope he turns out okay
 
Poor little thing. He probably needs real heat to warm up enough. Body heat, heating pad or lamp. They don't have enough fat to creat it on their own.
I don't like to keep wild rabbits but we use to raise tame ones and a few times people brought us hurt or motherless wild ones. The only real luck I had was to keep it in my shirt and force feed it till it was big enough to feed on regular food then I released him. I never told people that I had a rabbit in my shirt, I didn't think they would understand.
