Just painted roof of tank...

I just painted the roof of the tank, its dry but it still smells a bit. Could this odor harm the fish or is this harmless??

I'm guessing there may still be fumes, even though it is dry. You've got to be very careful with an chemicals and fish, so IMO - I'd wait till it doesn't smell at all before putting it near the fish. Maybe you could stick it outside for a few days?
