just killed a fry

I just accidentally killed one of my two 1 month old black molly fry, I am so distressed. I was changing the water and she got smushed against the gravel and sucked into the siphon tube ...

Those two little mollies were so cute together. I have had so many fish die because when I started I didn't know anything about cycling, and this was one of the three surviving fish living in a 5 gallon bucket until my tank is cycled. I was sure they would all live.

What can you say, it's awful, it happens i'm afraid they do tend to get in your way at times and you sometimes don't notice, even worse when they are fry as they are that little, sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear the bad news ; i had a similar thing happen to me a while back when i used to have a beutiful little yellow, orange and black platy fry.
When it comes down to it, bad things happen and you'll be realy lucky if these kind of things don't happen; with a bit of time though hopefully your mollys will bless you with some more fry in the near future
