Just joined just started with tank

I just found this site today and it looks great and very informative.
I have a ten gallon tank with 2 tiger barbs, 1 blue gourami, 1 bala shark, 4 live plants a bubble wall ,power filter blue and green gravel , and a sunken ship center piece. Can you tell me what other fish if any to put with the ones I have.Also any suggestions for food.

First piece of advice is to read Anna's piece on new tank syndrome, you can find it here.

Once you are satisfied your tank is cycled, the Tiger Barbs... these can be quite aggressive towards their tanks mates when you only have a small number. Usually you'll want 6 or more - that way, they chase each other about and leave the rest of their tank mates alone.
