Just introduced a Femal Dwarf Gourami

I take it this is normal? I was sold the male on his own by some bloke that assured me they were happy in singles, hes been on his own for a month or so now. So i got him a mate today, and he seems a bit over amorous?!?!

Will they settle down?

Probably ... assuming the second one is really a female.

Most LFS owners I've talked to, and many people on forums, say that it can be difficult to accurately determine the sex of dwarf gouramis, as the "rounded dorsal fin" method can be ambiguous with a fish that size.

Do gouramis chuck out fry alot or are they well behaved in that sense? How can u sex them? )

I was led to believe the females were white and smaller, while the males were red and blue striped?
