Just Got A Quality Female Betta From Lfs!

Just got this Female from the LFS only cost £1.75 Bargain!!! Not the best quality pics sorry!

I cant tell from the pics, a little too blury but can you see if it has an ovipositor or not?

whats that? the guy in the shop said it has a white mark to show its a female, hes bred them before so seems to know what he is talking about.

If it has an ovi then it's a female, as for the cost of the fish you got a bargain all females near me are around the £2.250 mark and I get CT's with the odd VT thrown in.

Would you believe it one lf's that I went into didn't know that there were any different tail forms apart from the VT's

Hi, it was in a 2ft tank with about 25-30 females.

It really looks like a male Plakat to me too. The anal fin looks a little long to be a female.

It looks like a male to me to, looks the same mine did when i caught it spawing with another female

it should be a male as females pelvic fins dont get that long
