Hi,
Well I just upgraded my 10gal (sold) and 14gal (will sell soon) to a 30 gal Hex tank.
Anyway the people that sold me the tank had a pleco in it. They have never cleaned the tank, so I put the pleco in my 14 gal for the time being till I clean out the tank and get it cycling and put it back in.
I dunno how to take care of a pleco all too well hoping I won't kill it. Also don't know the type of it. Will get a pic soon. It is about 6inches long.
I have 2 otos and don't know how the pleco will get along with these two guys either. Any sugestions!

depends on the type of pleco, but should be fine with the otto's.
what are the dimensions of your tank?
try to get a pic and we can tell you for sure what typw it is and wether its suitable for your tanks or not

Sorry for no pic, found out by a friend that it is a Common Pleco. I think the poor little thing has been negleted  . Well considering it was living in filth for awhile in a 30 gal tall hex tank 25H x 18.5 W x 20 L (each side is 10inches). So what I am going to do today is take him to my LFS and try to trade him with a couple of more otos or a clown/BN Pleco. I know this little guy is probably already stunted. I hope he finds a better home. At least I saved him. :)

no dont trade him for ottos...dont keep ottos unless you know what your doing...theyre only suitable for planted and biotopes based around their natural environment.

and when i say planted, i mean it, i dont mean 1 or 2 plants, i mean the full planted set up, they need a mature tank with a plentiful supply of green algae

Otos will do fine on a diet of vegetables such as zucchini, cucumber, butternut squash, lettuce, & kale, but having a few plants in the tank isn't a bad idea. If you have many of them they will quickly consume the algae in the tank and then depend on you to supplement it with other food.

With otos, if they have not eaten for an extended period of time, they will be in a condition where they can no longer digest food. If this happens during shipping or in you tank they will die. Even though it appears that they are eating, they are not getting the nourishment from the food.

I wouldn't recommend keeping otos and plecos together because I lost some otos after adding a group of baby BN plecos to their tank. I believe the small plecos were more aggressive eaters and being very active they scared the otos away from the vegetables.

Um in case you didn't see my sig, I already have 2 Otos. I had the same 2 for a year now and they are doing great. Also have 2 live plants for them right now.

Also I did trade him in to get a BN. The BN will stay in the 30 gal while the otos stay in my 14 (hubby wants to keep it). Right now the BN is in the 14 for a few days.

Also I do feed my otos zucchini, peas, and tabs every so often so they do not depend soley on me for food. So I am going to do the same for the BN.
