I'm curious about setting up a marine tank. It, erm, sounds rather interesting, and.... Although I can't seem to get my Mom to get me another tank right NOW, maybe some time in the future....? Anything fancy that I would need to do/buy to make it all happen and work? I was rather interested in the clown fish I saw at Big Al's the other day; I would sure like some Nemo's in my tank. XD

First thing to do is decide what you want to keep. This helps decide what equipment you will need.

As Ben said, answer the few questions he has given you and we can help you more................ but for now, grab a pen and notepad and start reading journels of the size of tank you are interested in

Decide upon the sort of tank you want

Fish only FO
Fish only with live rock FOWLR
Fish, live rock and corals REEF


start an equipment list
a cycling information list
Clean up crew list
fish list

And don't forget to pop back here with lots of questions along the way remember, the only stupid question is the one not asked
