Just Changed To Sand

[fishy friends]

about half a hour i have changed to sand in my tank. at the moment my fish are in a large bucket with my heater and air stone in there.
the tank is half full atm, should i put the filter back in?
how long should i leave it till i put all the fish back in?
how long would it take for it to become clear?

think it all depends on how well you washed your sand. i would not risk the filter till all sand has settled to avoid being sucked into the impellar

ok then. i have put my fish in the tank they all seame fine swimming around. i realy hope they dont die!!

the watter is still a bit cloudy but im sure it will go

They will be fine.... it happened to me when my fish was in the tank. He is all fine and it had cleared by the next day

I've always wondered... how do you drain the sand after you wash it out?
