just bred

hi all just thought i would tell ya all i have breed my bettas.
the male is a multi plakat from one of my older spawns and the female is black and white i baught her as a plakat female. both are stunning in looks so hopefully the fry will be to.
this is my 3rd spawn this year.
i have a mustard gas on the go and some blues. the mustard gas are 4 weeks old and so are the blues.
and yes i have all the food and space for when they grow up and plenty of 1gal jars for the males.
i also have 4 4ft tanks as grow out tanks.
they are on microworms at the moment they dont seem to like baby brine shrimp.
soon im hooeing to get another 4ft tank and some smaller ones.

also i have 2 tropical fish shops that buy my bettas of me when they are big enough and old enough. i sell a few on my own to.

i know nothing about bettas except for the amount of time, patience and TLC that goes into it. Oh, and money, too.

Thats wonderful CT i have heard that it can be quite hard to breed them but you have seemed to have cracked it obviously you have spent time and effort to have acheived sucess. I wish you all the luck maybe you ought to teach us all lol

just to update you all, the eggs hae hatched and the dad was doing a great job lookin after them he has now been taken out and the fry are just becoming free swimming.
