I just purchased a male Blue Crayfish that's about 4 inches long for my 90 gallon aquarium.
His tank mates are a 5" Blood Parrot, a 7" Turquoise Severum, and a 9" Sailfin Leopard Pleco.

I know they are scavengers and eat about anything they come across but is there
a certain type of food I should be feeding them specifically?
I bought some Aqueon brand bottom feeder sinking tablets (not algae wafers) to feed him.
I also have Wardley brand algae wafers that I feed my Pleco.

I feed my blood parrot and severum Hikari Cichlid gold pellets and they float so none of that food ever hits the bottom of the tank.

I have plenty of plants in my tank, and have small/medium sized gravel (i heard they like to burrow)
but I don't have any sand in the tank and wouldn't want him to hurt his legs trying to dig.
I have an extra large bell decoration that is in my tank that my blood parrot and severum like to
take cover into, but currently the crayfish is sitting in that and my two big babies are scared to go in
there because they're not quite sure what he is yet.

So, I added a smaller cave decoration into my aquarium that is perfect size for my crayfish, hopefully he will
claim that as his space instead of the huge bell cave.

And pretty much just any other tips or advice about the creatures would be greatly appreciated as I
have never personally owned or cared for one before and I want to do it right.

:good:
Thanks
