Id say its a Vieja Bifa, the synspila dont have the banding around the eye and the black line stops much shorter up the body on the synspila.

Is that on a more mature fish though or juvie colouration? This was my one at 5"ish if I remember correctly

Looks like a Vieja bifaciatus, there are 2 bifa's, bifaaciatus and bifaciatum. Google them and you'll see the differences. LFS once had a 12" bifaciatus
