My friend gave me a Marina micro LED light ( http
/www.petsathome.com/shop/micro-led-white-aquarium-lighting-set-by-marina-16344 ) since he didn't need it. However, he lost the power supply (ie. the black 'adaptor' unit that you plug into the wall) leaving me with the LED itself, and the cable that runs to the power supply, with the fitting at the end. It's a fairly common fitting, the type that you plug into your laptop really.
I'm not very good with electrics, but i know that usually it's the other way around for most consumer electrics. The power supply has the cable, which plugs into the appliance, not the other way around.
I've scoured ebay for a power supply that will receive a unit, but really don't know what i'm looking for, ie. what it's called!
The wire has a label reading "DC 6V, 30mA". I know what this means, but if i type those numbers into ebay about a million things come up!
Anyone with more knowledge than me on this please help!
Thanks
