well first of all my male swordtail killed my female in the other 10 so hes the only one in there... neways back to the subject i got my other old 10 up again and used okd water from the other 10 gallon so i dont have to cycle it and added 2 gups 2 platys and some juvie babies from diff livebearers back to the other 10 so whats all in there now is my lone male and some frys from veris diff livebearers again so two 10s with diff juvies frys and a 2.5 with a sick female swodtail a diff one though and when she heals ima add her to the one lone male... so i gots two 10s one 2.5 and and one 1 gallon not in use yet so thas all i have to say

oh and all in my room.... so any help on how to stock teh two 10s plz i like tetras and frogs but need help on stocking it plz and i have 1 ghost shrimp in the 10 i just set up to day heheh well thats all for now but plz help on stocking thanks ya all

If you just added water from your mature 10, the tank isn't cycled. The tank water contains very little of the beneficial bacteria. Most of it lies in the filter, and a small bit is in the substrate. I'd be careful of the fish in there, since you added them all at once, and keep an eye on the water stats so you can keep them in a good range while cycling. This may mean daily water changes, I warn you. But definitely keep an eye on it.

If I have this straight, you have 2 10 gallons. One with a male Swordtail and fry, and one with Guppies, Platies and fry. In which case, I would not add anything to either, because you want to give the fry room to grow. Ideally, the Swordie should be in a bigger tank too. Do you have 2-3 females per male with your Guppies/Platies? Or all males or all females? And I wouldn't add just the one female in with the male sword, it will be very stressful on her to get all the male's attention.

I'm sure this sounds very negative, and I apologize. I'm not trying to discourage you, or reprimand you in the least. But I think it's better to find things out now, then make mistakes later.

nope i gots only all females cept for the male swordtail and the last female died in the hospital tank well i did my best but neways i got 2 filter 1 a whisper and the otehr a HOB so anyways i g2g byeas
