Well i dont know how to describe it but i was just wondering about the little weed that grows on the pond could it be put into a warm water aquarium

It would help as there are hundreds of water weeds. Most common are hair algae, duckweed and anachris. Although personally I don't think any of them look very bad if well managed.

Yeah thats duckweed. Really nice plant if kept in small quantities I like it. In large quantities it has a tendency to overwhelm a tank, It will survive in tropical and cold water

yay i will put some in my shrimp tank. but i just got it out of the pond so shud i was it a little?

Yeah wash it in a very weak bleach solution then thoroughly rinse. Shrimp love duckweed they will hang upside down from the roots.
