Try a different food. Like frozen bloodworms. Has it just stopped eating, or did it never eat in the first place?

its a new one it hasnt eaten with all the other fish since i got it
(it never even touches the food whilst on the top or floating in the middle) it pecks at the catfish food i leave for my bn plecos though

Perhaps it is a difference in ingredients which it might prefare Or perhaps the compatition during feeding time is to great for it?

my pair rarely comes to the surface to feed. but they do 'devour' anything that sinks down. i would go for bloodworms too. or live brine shrimp. it should help
