Will my plec (bristlenose) be cool with a sand substrate, ive not ever done it before as thinking when he ate, he's munch on sand too, but he normally happily sits on his bogwood and eats stuff that lands on it as well as rasping
+ ordinary builders sand if washed through a million times (as normal!) ???

Just wondering though the sand should be fine unless its got lime yeah?? is there a quick answer for checking for lime?
