So my angel fish has had a bit of a hard trot of late... I went to Bali for three weeks, having just healed a small fungal infection on its side, and came back to a very poorly fish.
My angle has a hole in its gill... and I've been doing a bit of research and theres a chance it might be tuburculosis (sp?)... and i read somewhere that this is "potentially transmittable to humans" if this is the case, i have to kill it. if its not the case... well... i dont really want to take any chances... do i?
oh yeah, and the fungal infection is back too, so im treating it with triple sulfa

anyways, feedback please

I ahev a similar problem with one of my angels, but its not exactly a hole in the gill. The gill is just slightly smaller and showing a little bit under the gill. :dunno: If anyone can answer my or NuSkool's questions thanks in advance.

Maybe what your talking about is gill disease, I've stumbled across it on my search for a cure for hole in the gill... not sure how its treated, but I hope its fixable.

Well I guess nobody has any input on my hole in the gill problem. I've asked a male friend of mine to smash Odie over the head with a blunt object... and I think he's kinda looking forward to it!
Poor little fella, but its for the best I guess.
