Jumping Dojos!

Ahh! My dojo loach jumped from the tank last night, no idea how as it is covered, and I found it in a dust pile on the floor infron of my brothers tank. His jump must have been a good 4 feet!

He is still alive, and in a covered bowl, as I dont want to place him with the other fish now. He is really dark, and looks dried out, but is moving.

What should I do for him?
 
not much..add some stress coat...dojos are known for jumping and are also known for living for quite a while (hours) out of water by secreting a thick coat of mucus to protect themselves from drying out
 
wow! I never knew that. I ownder how long he was out for though.
 
just FYI, this is someone elses experience on loaches.com

"They will jump out of your tank if you have no cover.
One of mine got out and fell onto shag carpet and wasn't found for three days. He survived the ordeal by secrecting a thick mucous that kept him moist."
