hi guys, so i have a 180 L tank and a 40L tank i am soon to be getting a 60L tank. In my 180L i have 8 julis and i would like to breed them. If i put them in my new tank does any one know how hard it is to breed them.

Your julii's are more than likely Trilineatus(three line corys),they are often mis-sold has julii(true julli are very rare and very hard to obtain)

Anyhows they are quite easy to breed from,i have had good success with them in the past,although the hardest part is the rearing of fry My tri's only lay a few eggs each time...

Have a read of this Breeding corydoras ,it has excellent info on breeding and rearing corys.

my LFS has some labelled as Julii's, i also have a 3 line and the LFS ones look quite different to my guy

i am now very tempted to get a few to find out for definate, if not the my 3 line needs some friends anyway

P.s whats the average price of a Julii these day?
