Jewel Cichlid

I have this Jewel that is the only cichlid I have owned that will eat out of my hand. The only problem is every time I put my hand in the tank he thinks its time to eat. He's like 2 inches now. The only thing I worry about is he likes to bite me when I'm not looking and the bite doesn't hurt but he always does it when I'm not looking and I freak out let out a AAAHHHH and lose about a half gallon of water and almost break the illuminare every time he does it. I'm worried it might actually start to hurt when he gets older.

Hey there ...

I have an oscar that believes everything is food bestowed 2 him ... he has bitten me that he takes my fingertip (past the nail) into his mouth ... sting like when you cut or nick yourself with a knife but nothing serious ...

He has drawn blood from me many times .... lol ...

So expect a sting when older but nothing worth worrying about ... Jewels mouths arent as big as oscars as well so that is a bonus ... lol ...
