I have a Jewel aquarium and want to remove the unit that houses the filter and heater. I think it's held in place with silicon. The tank is in use, and would like to know if it's easy to remove the unit before I start attacking it with a knife!

just get a sharp craft knife and slit the silicone. then silicone it back were you want it.
