Jd & Female Convict

Was watching my large tank tonight just before feeding time and I caught my male JD hanging around my female convict, occasionally chasing the male connie away and a coulpe of time he even did a little mating dance (turns in front of her, shudders back and forth for 5 seconds or so) a couple of times

Any Ideas?

I've heard of this being possible and being done, but I've never seen any photo evidence of the offspring. Keep us updated. I'd be interested to know if it works, apperently its rare for them to breed successfully *shrugs*
