I have just got this item and it come with a 2 pin transformer! should it have a 3 pin adaptor with it. Iam guessing it should because it also came without the green base

Mine came like that as well - I think they all actually do !
You just need to stick it into a 2 pin convertor (or whatever they are called) and bob's your uncle
I stuck mine directly into a time switch.

I bought mine second hand on eBay but the box set came with the green stand - I think they all do though I'm not 100% sure. Is yours new or 2nd hand ?

it is new i have contacted the shop and they are sending one out for me.
How do you stick directly into a time switch ? does that mean you are not using the transformer? i know the supply need to be 12v
