Hello all,
Got a spot of bother with a Dwarf Gourami. Looks like it could be iridovirus but want to give him a fighting chance. Seen good things about Furanol as a anti-bac medication and have a 5 gal set up as a Hosp tank.
I know it won't do anything for him if the symptoms are virus based but I'd like to give it a go on the offchance. Seen Furanol on ebay but likely to take 9 days to get here and most of the online retailers charge silly amounts for postage. Anyone know a place to source this stuff from?
Cheers.
Mark
BTW, he's currently in a 20 gal planted. 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrite, Nitrate around 40 (tap levels are quite high), PH 7.8, 26 degrees, 10-15% water changes weekly, no additives other than de-chlor. His two girlfriends look OK but noticed this morning that one may be starting to get a small hole in her lower fin. So may treat her too. Will not be buying any more Dwarf Gourami. Ever.
