Does anyone have any java moss in their betta bowls?

I just bought a clump and put some in each tank and bowl. I have no doubt it'll do great in the 10 gallon divided because it's a cycled tank with proper lighting in there. But does anyone know how they'll do in my 2 1/2 gallon bowls? I was just wondering since I do 100% water changes with those plus I don't have any special lighting for them. I know java moss is supposed to grow easily in just about any conditions. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I took a little rock and tied moss around it and just dropped it in. In my 30 gallon community tank I tied it to some lava rocks and driftwood.
Anyone have any other ideas for java moss they'd like to share? Any pics?

Java moss is adaptable to just about any water chemistry that any fish are kept in, so as long as there is at least some light for a reasonable period of time each day, it should grow well. Java moss can be anchored on any rocks, driftwood, and plastic decor, so if you have any decorations at all inside your tank, you should be able to add java moss. The one restiction is that the moss doesn't grow well if planted in the substrate--it needs to be anchored via string or rubber bands to a rock or other decor item. Hope this helps!
