I bought 5 of these little guys last week and I have to say that they are the most interesting little fellas you can have in your tank!
They blast arround eating up crap like there aint no tomorrow!
I think I like them more than my fish :*) !
You dont even have to feed them cos they scavenge every inch of your tank eating all the waste!
No tank should be without them! (Unless your fish will kill them then you shouldnt subject them to the torture and pain of being rolled around a fishes mouth for ages and eventualy being swallowed never again to see the beautiful tropical glow of a tank light "OH THE HUMANITY, OH GOD WHY, WHY")!

Anyway I think they are a sound investment for tanks full of algae or those people (like myself) whom are exceptionaly pedantic about water conditions!

I have five of them in my 55 gallon. They remain hidden most of the time in my heavily planted tank. :dunno: I occasionally see them picking away at algae and such.

Yeah it's a bit hit and miss if you have them in a big tank but as a remedy you could just buy more!
It's meant to be near impossible to get the little beggers to make with the jiggy and breed 2 so you wont get any for free!

They are still the greatest things tho! One of mine was swimming round the tank with a whole piece of micr-gran in its claws! Occasionaly it would stop and feast on it!! So funny! Like a fat kid with a lolly pop!! :D

One of mine is currently holding eggs. They'll never hatch without the proper conditions..ie. salt.

Yeah one of mine had a clutch of eggs but the are all dead and gone now! Its all cheap fish food on the bright side tho eh?

Maybe we should send all those unwanted teenage pregnancy babies to ethiopia to feed the starving kids in ethiopia! I'd rather be eaten than be born into some manchester scally family!

take a leaf out of mother nature book! Thats what I say!
