Much better than mine and I'm older than you ! Well done!hi my name is jake and i am 12 years old and new to fish keeping so any helpful information would be appreciated . i have a 2 foot tank with 15 fish they are 2 male swordtails, 1 red honey dwarf gourami,1 angel fish, 2 red wagtail platys,5 neon tetras,1 albino cat fish , 1 tiger barb, 1 emerald barb,1 rainbow shark tahts about all i think .

Its an addicting hobby, hopefully your parents will enjoy it to, which means more tanks. What do you plan to keep in the new larger aquarium?
i am planning to just make it a community tank agian but with some more plants .
if any one has any suggestions on wat fish i should put in there please tell me

looks good for a first tank.your "albino catfish" that i see in the left corner of the first pic, will need some frineds.they are called cory cats.id get 2 more of the albino.they will be happier and more active.also your neons will probably become lunch for your angel.angels eat neaons in the wild you know.your shark may become aggressive so keep an eye on him.also barbs (tiger and emerald)like and to be in gruops or they will start attacking other fish.those are all basic mistakes though.alot better than when i first set up a tank.that was bad.i was 7
Nice tank, as others have said cory cats are good.
I have two bronze and two peppered along with two clown loaches who keep the snails at bay.
The only thing to watch in a community tank is what I have done, it is too easy to keep going to your fish shop and saying " i like that " and getting overstocked.
I would really think about your next purchase, see how these get on and wait for your next tank.
Good luck

if you want a nice community tank you could consider the livebearers of the fish world. i keep platys, swordtails, guppies and mollies. i did have gouramis in the same tank but i decided to seperate them as the livebearers breed very easily adn the gouramis to readily will eat the little fish. some of these fish may sound a little boring at first but trust me they are awesome fish to keep.
they are all very hardy fish and are excellent for beginners. i also keep some tetras in the tank; x ray tetras which are cool and neon tetras which are way cool
just a couple of ideas. i know you have some other fish but has already been mentioned they will outgrow the tank and could become agressive. some fish just shouldnt be kept with certain other fish.
