oh he is adorable, second nomination for potm :good:

thank you :) i think he is soooo utterly gorgeous, but i am of course so biased

We arent too sure what he is lol, i got him from a local rescue when he was 8 weeks old. Someone just handed the litter in, but gave no info so the rescue guess border collie x's... the usually guesses/suggestions are border collie, german shepherd and english bull terrier/staffordshire bull terrier... but we will never know for sure  especially with that tail lol.

if anyone has any suggestions on what they think he is, they are very welcome to share lol! :)

Lol...

I'd guess Staff x Collie x GSD x Akita.

He really is adorable though whatever he is. And kudos for picking a rescue dog. :)

Thanks :) i am a big supporter of rescues, and will always be getting future dogs from a rescue too (unless some miracle happens and all the rescues are empty... never going to happen though!). I was going to get an older Staffy x but the rescue said a pup would be best coz my sisters kids stay with us at the weekend and my niece is here during the day all through the week, so thought it would be better for a pup to grow up with them... that and the fact that all pups in his litter had to get rehomed that day!

Gorgeous dog! Love tri-colours.....

Tri colours are normally found in collies, on occasion English Bull Terriers, (come to think of it, I do know of one Staffie tri colour but reckon they are very unusual), but look at that tail! Ever thought of Basenji cross too? Look at that last photo!

Whatever the mix, what a lovely dog

Thanks :)

I love tri coloured English bull terriers! i think they are stunning :D

I have thought of Basenji, and a few people have suggested some kind of Spitz breed for the tail... it certainly does cause much confusion! lol. (I actually had one woman arguing with me that he is a full border collie!) He was the only one of the litter with that tail (i only saw 3 of the litter, but the staff said that Jake, or Moby as they had called him, was the only one with a curly tail and a pink nose ).
