Jags, Dempseys...

I imagine some smaller plecos would be safe to house with a Jaguar and Jack dempsey but I thought I'd ask the folks here what they thought?
I have a common pleco in the tank currently, a rescued pleco that I really didnt want then and even less now. I'm planning on giving him to my neighbor and would like to add a few plecs I currently have in other tanks.
A vampire, bristlenose and a couple of clowns.
Whaddaya folks think?

Nah they will quickly become lunch as jags especially grow rapidly. Even larger ones will probably be harassed.

Really? I thought because of the plecs exoskeleton large fish wouldnt eat them, maybe harras them a bit, but not eat them?

I was unsure of the smaller plecs simply because of the small size.

My dad had a mean male Jag and as soon as it hit 5", it tried to swallow a 3" Pleco. Dad had to kill pleco to get the Jag free from it's spines. He just got out pliers and tore it apart. Jag got sold at 7" but, had 3 holes in it's throat were it had the incedent.
