Hi,

I think my male platy (Jack Sprat) has Swim bladder disease.... All the other fish in the tank are fine....

Jack for the past few days has been swimming funny (sort of lop sided) and if he wants to get to the top he goes to the air stone and lets the bubbles take him (very intelligent i must say). I've had a read and i'm pretty certain it's Swim Bladder, but it says there's no cure...

He's top fin doesn't stay up either.... I don't know what to do... He was one of my first....

Any one have any idea's?

Jo.

remove him from the tank and into a 1g bowl with an air stone on low and his original tank water, but over the days he's there do a 50% water change everyday, dont feed him for a couple days and when that time is up try a thawed boiled pea, he should eat it and that iv heard fixes swim bladder pretty well gl
