just out of curiosity as i seen the two fish locking lips and doing a mating dance last night the green terror (male) also made a nest. Is it possible for these two fish to breed? I have no clue about hybrids so any help will be great. Thanks

Thats what i thought, should i be worried about them locking lips they will do it for an hour or so at a time.

Depends how much damage is being done and how often they do it.

Doesnt seem like much damage, but it started yesterday when i did a water change went on for little over an hour, when i got home today they started doing the dance but i havent seen them lock again.

Should be ok esp if they are male and female, 2 males are likely not gonna be able to live together.
