anyone got a few ivory apple snails to spare, i ve a group of girls who are in dire need, (snails i mean)

I think your best bet would to be to buy several snails from your LFS and add them to your tank. The gender split in these snails is about 50/50 so odds are you'll get a male.

Are you sure you want a male? Keep in mind all the offspring they can produce.

ive bred loads, i know they can sometimes change gender, but ive six big fat ivorys snails, no mating, they have a 50 gal tank, with a external filter and the temp is about 79. My purples and mating like mad. My local shop doesnt sell apple snails and then only yellows and they are kept in poor condition. I imported these snails from the states, however, others now do have coloureds as they are becomeing more common. di
