What a shocker...Iv'e just lost two fish....has any-body had the same thing happen as this....Or am I the only idiot
My 13 gallon tank is set up in the corner of my living room facing away from the window, great for stopping unwanted sunlight entering the tank, but makes it difficult to syphon out the debris when doing a water change e.t.c as there is not much light going into the tank I cant keep the light hood on because of doing a water change and syphoning the tank so silly me decided to put the light hood on the floor with the light on and beaming the light up to the tank, great it gave me enough light to see what I was doing, it was when I decided to clean the front of the aquarium glass that all hell broke loose, the fish went crazy, I had cast a black shadow across the front of the tank they must have thought it was a predator of some kind, some of the fish jumped out the top of the tank, some fell back in but unfortunately two... a neon tetra and a rummy nose tetra.. fell down the back of the tank,as there is only about one inch of space there I had no chance of rescuing them. ..I feel such an idiot..I just didn't think...
