Ive looked everywhere for answers! Can anybody tell me what is going on here with my betta??

euthanise her.

The fish has either a growth (tumour or cyst) or a major internal problem.

Lots of eggs in the body do not cause them to develop that shape.

If she isn't eating properly and can't swim properly, then she is not going to live.
I believe youre right, she has a tumor or cyst on top of being egg bound, she swims and eats fine... im going to take her to be euthanized, theres nothing i can do

This is very helpful thank u i will try this!
She has a tumor or cyst, if i squeeze her even jus to get the eggs out, she will die, which she will die anyway so i will have to get her euthanized, so sad, we got her on Christmas day last year... thank you for your help

for everyone going on about the container size, it has nothing to do with the problem. Just try to stay on the subject, which is a sick fish with an internal growth.

Thank u, i realized recently i shouldve gotten her a bigger tank, we have another betta in a smaller tank so i will work on that... shes a sweet fish, seems happy still even being as big as she is, i dont want to feed her but i dont think thats the problem anymore. So i already feel bad for wat shes going through and just trying to help her, now i just feel attacked... im not a fish pro, just a normal person who bought a betta for a 2yr old...

We aren't really attacking you, just trying to find as much information as we can in the hope it might shed some light on the problem. Colin thinks it is an internal growth, and this is not caused by the water or the tank, but we needed to eliminate those as possibilities.

There is an awful lot of mis-information out there on bettas. For example, I'm sure you've read/been told the one that in the wild bettas live in puddles; they don't. We are also concerned that your other betta is not a victim of any mis-information you may have come across and want the best for your fish.
It is distressing for adults to have a fish with a growth like this, let alone a small child. Let us help you make sure your other betta lives a long healthy life.
