I've Got Worms

Well as the title says "I've got worms" (not me but in my tank )

they are in the gravel and look just like earth worms but little ones. I do have live plants on there witch must be were they have come from. I guess all I need to know is do I need to remove them or will my fish be ok?

Pictures? Could be any kind of worm or parasite from the above description.

Small, tiny and white? Planaria worms, pretty harmless and exist in almost every tank. You only notive them when theyre numbers skyrocket, usuall cause by overfeeding and bad water quality.

Get a pic up if you can or theres no sure way of us knowing what it is and/or if it is harmful.

Added any new plants lately.
Colour of the worms would be good.
Do the worms have a fork tail.
Seen any of the worms on your fish, if not look for sores or pierce marks on the fish.

thanks guys, well as I said they look like little earth worms approx 2-3cm long, pink in colour and now I need to take a picture of one can I find one!

I dont over feed my fish as I only feed them about once every three- four days (and only a pinch of flakes pluss a tablet for my plec) there health is ok.

I will post a photo as soon as one appers by the side of the tank as they are living in the gravel
