Ive Got A Snail Trail?

When I got up today I seen one of my snails(the little skinny pointed ones)on the front glass and about a 8-10'' trail going across the glass sideways.Its a white clumpy trail and it looks like he's still leaving them.What is this and what is my snail doing?
I can't remember the name of the snail but there common and they have the longer skinny spiral shell.Thanks and ill try to put a picture up in a bit.

Looking at your picture on the other thread I'd say its a Cerith Snail - Cerithium altratum

Should be algae free for a while if they all hatch!

yeah my snails are laying eggs all the time .. as far as I can tell, none of them survive

I've heard of margarita snails being successfuly raised though
