Ive got a little one

Hello

Thought i would share my good news.

Last week i posted about my fav Platy Lucky who sadly died a couple of days after giving birth , had told you all that i had seen one baby on the sunday but not since and thought he/she was fish food, well came home monday lunchtime and saw the little one in a fry nest at the top of the tank.

He/she is so cute and so orange , and seems to be moving arond the tank now at great spead hiding in the plants and the fry nests.

So pleased he/she survived so far, just hope it means that he/she will make it to adult hood

nice 1 its well when you find babies, i got 2 molly fry swimming round my tank now they about 6 weeks old, pretty sure mum is about to have more thou as she looks very square lol

Oh, that is nice. It is a consolation isn't it?

And he should do fine now he has survived this far. I am finding once my platy fry have got past the first day, they seem pretty capable little things.

Was looking at the tank last night and realised that i had 2 babies, different sizes, was really pleased cause i didn't think any had survived from the first patch i had a couple of weeks ago then this morning i was looking again and i saw another little orange one so i have 2 they are so cute and so small (spent so much time watching them this morning i was nearly late for work oops)

Also got a couple of female guppys for my small tank on sunday and when i went to switch the light off last night i had 5 little ones in there as well
