IVE GOT A BIG EMERGENCY!!!

I jus recently changed my betta into a new jar and i was jus going round the house doing some stuff when i realised i didnt dechlorinate the water before i put him in... So i quickly raced over to him and poured some in... Do you think he will be ok?

How's he acting? Maybe you were quick enough

He seems alright.. When i got to him he was jus sitting at the top now about 6 hours later hes swimming round the middle and i jus put a mirror up to him and he flared instantly so i think he may be alright...

When I was a kid, I had a goldfish in a bowl, that I won from a fair. Every week my mum would empty all the water out, fill it up again from the tap and put the fish back in. It survived this way for 3-4 years, until my dad dug a pond. Goldie is still alive and well 15 years later!

So I wouldn't worry too much about your little mishap

OOO i gota story like that.. at a fair there was a place where you had to throw darts and hit the cards and win the gold fish, these fish were in the smallest plastic bags you could imagine and they were leaking! so i tried my hardest to save some and i managed to get 5! all swimming happily for 7 years now,

all 3 of you deserve medals for you great work!!!, my only story being, i ahd a fantail that survived my nanas care when i was about 8, she dropped some paint in tank when i on holiday and my fantail suvived.. the i put him in my bigger tropical tank at 10, (not knowing tropical n goldfish dont go) but hey got to big and i put him in my pond, he lived for years but latly he died old age!
