Ive gone and done it again!

Hi all, well i think you could say, im well and truely into the spell now, as ive now got, a community tank of all girlies, that did have 5 in until 2day, wen i went and collected the girlie i fell in love with wen i was at the shop on thursday, and ive got a divided double hexagan, with a male in each side, then ive got my bf to have a male in his community tank, and my mums hooked to now, shes got a male in her kitchen.

the new girlie, is a wild caught girlie so im told, and is mainly redy pink, but wen u look at her from a certain angle she appears a very adorable blue colour, almost topaz!!!

i will upload pix asap, wen shes settled in propperly. shes taken really well to the other 5 girls in the tank, they have already accepted her, and even swim side by side with her! im really pleased shes fitted in so well!

i also got 6 black kuli loaches! which are just loving the sand! although the girlies are abit like, "what the hell are they? whats mummy putting in our tank? do we eat them?" but i think they will get used to them, lol.

Hiya Joby, yeh, i am lucky that they are such ladies, but then again, ive worked really hard on making the tank just how they need it to be. and wen i notice anything that i think i cud change to make it better for them, i do my best to do it.

for example, today, i noticed that they cud do with sumthing to sit on, thats close to the water surface, so that the lazy big red can sit closer, without having to panic wen she needs to get to the top for air.

ive also used alot of plants, to create hiding spaces, and mini flower pots for extra hidie holes, they now have a propper internal filter now, due to me changin to sand, they had to have the filter rather than the under gravel filter, which has made a few more hidie holes, under it, between it and the side of the tank, and ontop of it.

i hope that one day, ur manage to get a nice set up for some girlies, and then manage to find timid girlies that will learn to get along with each other.
