I went to all the fish stores by me today and picked up a nice variety of plants to add to the existing ones in my tank :)
They’re all easy care and looking really nice!
Hopefully these will help with my cycle some more, now I’m at stage 2.

Cryptocoryne x willisii
Cryptocoryne Becketti
Limnophila sessiliflora
Bacopa caroliniana
Hydrophila Polyspema
And some floating plants :)
Oh I also got a small price of driftwood to put the Anubias on and that’s just currently free floating by the castle 🏰

Looking good.

Word of caution about crypts - they often melt shortly after planting. This is normal. As long as the roots don't go black and slimy they'll come back.

The limnophila will try to climb out of the tank. Just prune it and plant the top part. More plants for free :)

I have read about plants melting :( I hope they survive the transition.
I only got one small pot of the limophila and kept it in the bunch, I want it to hide the filter so more plants for free is a bonus 🙌

This is a new tank with no fish yet, so you should consider using a comprehensive plant supplement to "feed" the plants and get them growing. In a new set-up, a liquid is most effective as it feeds all plants, whether rooted in the substrate, rooted on wood or rock, or floating. You are in the UK so I recommend TNC Lite, or TNC Complete but once fish are present you do not want to use TNC Complete, just the TNC Lite. The Lite has no nitrogen or phosphorus, two nutrients that will be more than sufficient when fish are being fed. A small bottle, you do not use much.

The substrate-rooted plants might benefit from substrate additives like TNC Plugs. Personally I would only use these for large rooted plants, like swords, maybe the crypts. Once fish are being fed in the tank the substrate will have organics decomposing providing plant nutrients, and with the comprehensive liquid will be adequate.

Thank you ☺️ I did forgot to mention that I purchased some Tropica premium nutrition it says tank size 100L = 5 pumps per week. (10ml) I’ll stick with two pumps as I’ve only got a 58L and see if it need adjustment after a period of time.
I do have two Amano in there and loads of bladder snails 🐌

Once the Tropica fertiliser runs out, look at TNC Lite as Byron recommended, or Seachem Flourish Comprehensive Supplement (caution, there are several products with Flourish in the name, make sure it's that particular one). Despite being an American company, Seachem products are available in the UK.
