Iv Got Some Sort Of Alge Growing On My Live Rock!

is this alge harmfull to my tank? what kind of alge is it? and how do i kill it?

Its just diatoms, happens with pretty much every new tank and will burn itself out eventually and go away by itself.

quite the reverse, it shows the tank is getting close to being ready for life, test for ammonia / nitrites and if they're 0 it's time for some clean up crew.

If it gets to much for you you can clean it with a soft bristle tooth brush.Just scrub the rocks off.
