The batch of tadpoles I had that were laid July 25th 2010 were kept at a temp of 80-82* (sometimes higher due to uncontrollably hot weather). These froglets morphed with by Mid September as rather large frogs...

The batch of tadpoles I now have, laid November 2nd 2010 were kept at a temp of 76-78*F and have just started morphing since Friday...
these froglets are a little under 1/2 the size that the first batch was...the diets and maintenance were the same ... could temperature really have that much of an influence? I know that every batch is unique as far as growth rate etc, but this seems to maybe point at an influential factor...

here are pics of my itty bitty babies and a video of them next to a ruler measured in INCHES.
They had just enjoyed their dinner of bloodworm broth with noodles (regular bloodworms lol) - - liquified bloodworms for the tadpoles and regular worms for the morphed frogs.

they're sooooooooooooooo cute!
love them, adorable :)

looks like the majority are actually reticulated albinos/leucistic and two are natural/marbled.

i won't be able to tell if the froglest are reticulated albinos or leucistics until they get older - - right now they have white bodies and blue/purple eyes

leucistic is a white frog with blue/purple eyes, but no spotting or other marks
reticulated albino is a white frog with blue/purple eyes and "marbling" or spots outlined in a faint pink or yellow.

they look identical when newly morphed - - the reticulation won't start to show it self for another month or so
