It's tropical today...

Today we have tropical temperatures...Had to water the plants extra in the backyard. All livebearers that are kept outdoors were just enjoying it. It was even tempting to go in that livebearer paddle pool myself which I keep in the backyard.

The weather forecast predicts rain showers but I haven't seen any yet... We are dealing with droughts...

How many months can you operate your pool? You need a lifeguard's chair for better viewing

I used to do that long ago. Aquarists can never know the sight of Red Hooks and Silver Dollar fish rising to eat pellet food like graceful trout. Same for Tinfoil barbs. I prefer the round pools because with a 1-2,000 gph pump you can make a stream like habitat...fish rest in the middle and some loved to tail on the outsides stronger current. Plus being round the fish are swimming up an infinite long stream.
