It's Official, My Tanks Busted! :(

Hey everyone... it's official my 125 gallon tank has a crack in it, I talk to my friend (owner of my LFS) and they'll buy the tank and the stand off me for $250 to use as a display tank, would've been $300 but they have to replace that pain of glass gunna cost em like $80, anyways, my arrowana and clown knives and bichir are currently in my 55 gallon (I know!! I feel bad too!!) and they'll have to stay there untill atleast mid day sunday when my 110gallon tank and stand arrives at my LFS... I know a bit of a down grade, but I've got minimal funds right now, between jobs... best time this could've happened right?? anyways, I was wondering, would a 110 gallon tank be enough room for an arowana, 2 clown knives a bichir and an ID shark? I've always wanted one but never actually thought about it untill now... anyone think it's larger enough for all those fish? I've got 1 external filiter (rena XP3 or whatever it's called... up to 175gallons) and I've got 2 air pumps (both 100's)... and one aquaclear 110gallon, so it's over filtered enough, plenty of oxygen... but my biggest concern is if they'll get along together? My LFS has a 6" ID shark for $25... should I get him? Or just a waste of money??

waste of money on the ID shark they just don't make tanks large enough for those poor fishies.

for a silver aro, you really ought to be looking at a tank 6 ft long x 2.5 ft wide, and preferably a bit larger. i don't think that a 110 is big enough on a permanent basis, but it could get you by for a while.

did you check the classifieds in your local paper? i know ours has cheapie 75g and 125g used tanks for sale all the time.

Thanks much for the tips guys, I'll check my classified adds and find out if there's a new 125g for sale hopfully there is... but if not the 110's their home (once I get it) for the time being...
