It's official - my betta is spoiled

I thought it would be fun to get my betta to eat out of my hand. Now, that's the only way he will eat. He'll eat practically anything but only if I feed it to him one piece at a time. If I just sprinke some food on the water, it sinks to the bottom and becomes garbage.

So how do you spoil your bettas?

i fee d mine bloodworm 1 at a time with tweezers so it doesn't mess up the tank

all but one of my bettas will eat out of my hand, the rest of them are shy iv used tweesers for bloode worms thogh

Little Petey loves it when I pet his tail. He wiggles his butt when he wants me to.
I have a girl who gets gourmet meals cooked for her every night. She gets bloodworms and peas. It's all she'll eat.

freckles only eats food i give him and only eats bloodworms from my finger... he wont take the blood worms unless they are 2 inches above his water so he can jump to get them... keeps my tough boy in shape so he can look good for cleo!

its cute my lil sis tries to feed him... he swims away! and when my dad comes in the room he flares!

i baby talk to mine (flame love it) i also pet the aquariam like right near them so it looks like i am petting them. most the time i finger feed. i test their water daily . i blow them kissies all the time (flame loves this too hes such a flirt). i sing to mine too i admit it i sing my favorite songs around them (flame loves this alot too needless to say hes spoiled rotten)

Mine won't eat from my hand, but they see me from across the room and swim up for food. In the mornings I find my self saying "Hello little fishy! Are 'woo hungry?"

I "pet" the glass and my fishes (ALL my bettas) dance so pretty. And everymorning I say "Goodmorning Kids" and at night "Goodnight Kids, Sleep well!"

I sing to my fish at breakfast ("Breakfast time for Uthie boy"-- to the tune of "Teddybear's picnic.") I frequently invite my family to ooh and aw over both Lancelot and Uther. I constantly add new items to their aquariums from my treasure cabinet. Before bedtime, I will often sit for 15+ minutes just gazing at their prettiness.

When I leave for work at night and turn off all the tank lights I say "night night" and wave my finger at them. 3 bettas and a couple dozen swordtails each get an individual "night night" every night. My BF thinks I'm nuts...

I say good morning when the lights get turned on, and good night when they get turned off. I ask them if they are ready for a water change and give them one regardless of the answer, I sit and gaze at them a couple times a day asking "how are you doin today?" I put my finger to the glass and some of them will follow it. I ask the boys if they are ready for some excersise before I put the mirror up. Yea, I might spoil mine a little.
