Its Me Again - Question

I've used both of those tanks for bettas and they work great. I don't use them with the filter though- it seems to create a really strong current for that size of tank.

last night I took a bit of Aquaclear clear foam and fit it in next to the Biowheel where the water streams out. The effect has been to slow the wheel and it's cut the flow by about half. I unplug it when I'm feeding him, but he does enjoy playing it that stream. My concern came from the fins beginning to look ratty and also I thought he might not be getting too much excercise, and not keeping weight on because he stayed in it constantly. Do have any experience with Fin Rot? It seemed to be starting and LFS suggested Erythromiacin instead of Melafix
