got into work this morning and our large armoured shrimp had died over the weekend. When it shed its shell the last time (about 2 weeks ago) he emerged looking very transparent (normal) but almost white after a couple of days. We had been feeding him Crab Cuisine but never saw him eating it. He was quite reclusive during the day but was allways out filter feeding early morning and when we all left at the end of the day. Since his last shell shed, he looked like a ghost with his shell very white looking and semi transparent. I think he died of a lack of calcium as when I removed him from the tank he was still quite soft.
